Contrary to popular belief, my animating career did not begin with Stupid Mario Bros. Instead, it started with a bunch of hugely disproportionate spacemen running around wearing purple clothes. I'm not kidding.
On this page I've basically gone and dumped just about all the old flashes (animations and games) I could find that were done before I started putting stuff on teh internetz. Quite a lot of this stuff is unfinished, so I've gone and put completion rates on everything just so's you know. Anything else? Oh yeah, nearly everything here is terrible, so don't say I didn't warn you.
It's in alphabetti spaghetti order- if you want to see it in timey-wimey order, take a look at the timeline.
Atom Power
2001 to 2003 - Completion rate: Episodes are complete but series isn't
First ever animation series- about a space team who have to fight against the evil Udikans.
Banjo-Kazooie: The Return of Gruntilda
2002 - Completion rate: Not finished but there's more than just 5 seconds here.
Animation about Gruntilda's resurrection after the first Banjo-Kazooie, although it's not the same as in the game.
Collection of Randomness
2005 - Completion rate: Well it did go online at some point so I guess it's done
Random, short and pointless flashes all mixed into this silly, silly collection.
Conker's Happy Hour
2005 - Completion rate: Hardly any gameplay done but it was well on its way
A fan sequel to cult classic game Conker's Bad Fur Day, with good ideas but it's cringeworthy to look at.
Cow Tipper
2005 - Completion rate: Mooo (that means it's finished)
A game involving the tipping over of cows. Hmm...
Dentist Who
2005 - Completion rate: It was done but I lost the source files! Only found the title screen.
A parody of Doctor Who featuring the Dentist and his Re-Tardis. Wasn't very good.
Donkey Kong
2000 - Completion rate: Ha.
Officially the earliest flash I've still got hanging around. It was gonna be a game where you collect bananas...
Donkey Kong: Banana Busters
2004 - Completion rate: Yes it's finished, because for some reason it used to be on Newgrounds.
Banana shoot-em-up. You read that right. There's nothing more to it.
Farm Mayhem
2002 - Completion rate: Er... I don't know?
Something about a farm... with SSBM Yoshi's Island music... and a dinosaur.
F-Zero FX
2004 - Completion rate: Unfortunately for us all, it is finished.
Based on F-Zero GX. Possibly the worst game I've ever made. Please turn your sound down...
Goldscooter
2002 - Completion rate: Cuts off half way, thank god.
Teletubbies and James Bond. I don't think anyone else has been retarded enough to think that up.
It's Churchill!
2007 - Completion rate: Complete, not that there's anything to it
Short, simple parody of the nodding dog adverts in the U.K.
Lego Bionicle 1 & 2
2002 and 2003 - Completion rate: Finished, amazingly
My first adventure games based (loosely) on the Bionicle universe. Ah, twas fun being a kid.
LightFlash 1 & 2
2001 - Completion rate: Finished but still bad
The first ever Flash games I finished are very, very simple timing games. And they give me a headache.
Mario Kart
2006 - Completion rate: Went on Newgrounds but really, I mean... you tell me if you think it's finished.
I started off trying to make a full game, but it became nothing more than a demo.
Mario Wings
2004 - Completion rate: One level, that's it.
A keyboard and collision detection demo I made, originally going to be a whole game.
Metroid Assault
2005 - Completion rate: Finished, although it was supposed to be longer.
A mix of very simple exploring and shooting in this mediocre attempt at a Metroid game.
PigHead mess-up series
2002 to present- Completion rate: Finished for now, although it's ongoing.
Basically, a series of messed up versions of other stuff. I may consider doing more of these.
PigHead Wars
2007- Completion rate: First level is nearly complete.
Unrelated to the mess-up series of the same name, this is a Star Fox style game but with pigs.
Pimp Your Chimp
2005 - Completion rate: Finished, this is all there is.
Embarrassing little dress-up game. Fortunately more embarrassing for the guy who did the voices.
Road Runner Adventures
2002 - Completion rate: Finished, despite being completely devoid of sound.
Based on the Wile E Coyote shorts. Lack of sound kind of defeats the point.
Silly Stories
2001 - Completion rate: Practically nothing.
I don't know, why am I even bothering to upload this?
Sonic Blast
2005 - Completion rate: No, no, no, no.
A rather pathetic attempt at making a Sonic flash game produced this.
Super Mario RPG
2005 - Completion rate: Put it this way, it doesn't even get to a single battle.
I attempted to make a flash game based on the classic SNES Super Mario RPG. I failed.
Star Wars
2004 - Completion rate: The three individual games are finished, the second version isn't.
Really basic shoot-em-up trilogy. Became the basis for my Rogue Squadron game in 2008!
Star Wars Cantina Band
2005 - Completion rate: Finished, not that this is the same as polished.
Rhythm based game starring the Mos Eisley band. This seriously needs remaking.
StarFox Flash
2004 and 2005 - Completion rate: First version is finished, second version has a lot of progress, so green this is.
Another shoot-em-up, but this one's massive and features bosses. Shame it looks so bad.
Stupid Captain Scarlet
2002 - Completion rate: Yeah, they might as well be finished. It's not like anyone will notice.
Trilogy of Captain Scarlet parodies. This is a classic example of half-arsed animating, even considering I was 10.
Teletubby Wars
2001 - Completion rate: A fair amount was done but it's hardly complete.
You thought Goldscooter was bad? Try teletubbies in Star Wars. It's among the earliest flashes I can find.
The Drunk Teacher
2005 - Completion rate: About 5 seconds of animation done. Does that sound complete to you?
Comedy about a teacher who is drunk. Yeah.
The Untitled SHOW
2005 to 2007 - Completion rate: Everything here's finished.
A comedy series I made that is probably too crappy to bother with now.
Think Fast
2007 - Completion rate: About four microgames can be played, most don't work but who cares.
A Wario Ware style micro-game thing. Not very good.
Tom Tetris
2007 - Completion rate: I think this is all there was ever supposed to be.
I put myself into Tetris. That is all. No you can't play it, because it's an animation.
Wario Ware Flash
2004 and 2006 - Completion rate: One version is more or less finished, the other one isn't.
A Wario Ware game, but scaled back to just 12 micro games, all of which are pretty bad.
Zelda: Vaati's Revenge
2005 - Completion rate: Nowhere near done, but there's enough to show.
Oh yes, at some point I even tried to make a Zelda game. Mnerr.
