In the beginning was the word, and the word was DIE. Thus Ganondorf Dragmire and his best friend, the convicted serial rapist, transvestite genie Gwonam the Wizard, created DIE, the debut album. Outselling the competition in Christmas 2007, the duo briefly teamed up with Morshu, the fat retarded shopkeeper with obsessive explosive disorder. Once DIE with BOMBS was released, the trio embarked on a legendary tour across the Mushroom Kingdom, until Morshu jeopardised a gig by spilling lamp oil on the microphones. Since then he has had a much smaller role to play.
Seven daily DIE songs later, Ganon and Gwonam went on temporary retirement due to producer Dr. RobDIEtnik apparently experiencing a 'mid-DIE crisis.' But, the duo resurfaced due to their highly anticipated and expertly crafted third album- DI3, which also included small contributions from Link, the King and the notorious Morshu. Gwonam apparently had one thing to say once the album was completed: "Isn't it beautiful..." It is, Gwonam, it is...
So what is next for this venerable franchise? Well, apparently, Ganon and Gwonam are planning to call it quits. If that is the case, then at least they went out on a high, eh? But, these are just rumours... You never know what the future will bring. Rumour has it there was one song missed off the latest album that will be finding it's way onto a new video soon... (EDIT: It already has)
